Volunteers Wanted For The Liberty Science Center (LSC):

COME JOIN THE LIBERTY SCIENCE CENTER VOLUNTEER TEAM!
ExxonMobil has been a long-time supporter of Liberty Science Center (LSC) since its inception. In fact, Exxon Mobil has provided LSC with grants totaling over 3M$. LSC's 109M$ expansion and renovation project will be finished this summer with a grand re-opening planned for July. With over 300,000 square feet, four floors and seven new exhibition areas, the new LSC offers distinctive experiences that will engage, educate and inspire guests who want to strengthen their knowledge of science.
LSC is looking for people to join the Volunteer team. Volunteers play an essential role in the daily life of the Center. Whether it is out on the floors or doing behind-the-scenes work, LSC has opportunities for all. No scientific background is required -- only a friendly, outgoing demeanor.
To learn more about volunteer opportunities at LSC, please attend an open house at the ExxonMobil Clinton Research Center on Monday, June 11 from 11 AM to about 1 PM. Lunch will be included. Representatives from LSC will be there along with current volunteers (like Arnie Goldstein and Jeff Morrison) to give an overview of the new LSC and to talk about how you can help. Opportunities exist to fit your schedule and interests. All it takes is approximately 8 hours per month (typically two, four-hour shifts).
