DAY TRIPS
FALL
FOLIAGE AND OCTOBERFEST
We have arranged a delightful bus trip at the peak of the
foliage season to the Woodloch Pines Resort in the Poconos. We can't guarantee that we
will enjoy those brilliant fall colors but we can guarantee an
Octoberfest luncheon with entertainment at The Inn at
Woodloch.
The bus will leave from the Community Congregational Church
in Short Hills, NJ (corner of
Parsonage Hill
Road and
Hartshorn
Drive) at 8:30 AM sharp. The ride to the
Woodloch Pines Resort is two hours. The church has requested
that we please park at the rear of the parking
lot.
On arrival at about 11 AM, we will be escorted downstairs and
entertained by various acts and a German dance band. Bingo will also be
held. Lunch will be
served at 12 noon consisting of:
Cold Selections
Hot
Selections
German
Potato Salad, Sauerkraut, Beerwurst,
Grilled Bratwurst, Broiled Knockwurst,
Tomatoes,
Cucumber and Onion Salad, Herring Red
Cabbage, Roast Pork Tenderloin
Fruit
Salad, Applesauce and much more.
Warm Apple Strudel and much more.
After lunch, we may be treated to a boat ride on the
lake. The
Woodloch Country Store is alive with attractive gifts as well as
homemade breads and baked goods. Departure time will be 4PM.
Total cost for the lunch and show will be $55 per person for members
and $65 for associate members and guests. Send your reservation and
